I have a Lenovo z570, I found out that my laptop has two Graphic Card (Intel + Nvidia). When I tried to install Nvidia driver, I've got an error which says:
What should I do to fix it? Does it mean my laptop really doesn't have that hardware?

Your laptop came with nvidia-optimus technology. This should work in the following way: Most of the time, the system runs using the Intel graphics, which improves the battery life, and when you need to use more graphic power, it switches automatically to the nvidia card. The problem is that there is no official support of the optimus technology on linux. There are, however, some projects trying to solve the problem, see for example the hybrid graphics at launchpad https://launchpad.net/~hybrid-graphics-linux .
So don't worry, your laptop does have the nvidia card. It's just that it is either disabled in bios (and you can enable it), or your computer cannot see it. Anyway, if you want to use the card, you will have to install software enabling you to switch between the graphics cards.

I have Lenovo Z570 and it comes with two graphics card. Nividia and Intel one. Ubuntu was intelligent enough to detect Nvidia card and prompt me to download drivers for same.
If no, click on settings (upper right) > System Settings > Additional Drivers and there it should be.

I have a Lenovo z570 i3, Ive installed the packages available for nvidia and my graphics card is still not recognised?
It displays the following error upon trying to configure it
You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X configuration file and restart the X server
Any ideas?

You laptop has a hybrid card, you have a intel + nvidia card running in your system, the drivers you are installing for you nvidia are not working correctly because they are not being loaded on startup.
You Intel card is running as primary so you have 2 options:
1) If you BIOS allows to turn off the Intel card and leave the nVidia one running then the drivers will work correctly;
Lenovo Z570 Drivers Windows 10
2) Use software that enables you to use some functions of your nVidia card, its called Bumblebee and its largelly discussed on use/installation, etc, on the site.

with the Z570 there is a switch on the front of the laptop flick it and then you can make the Nvidia your primary graphics card in the nvidia settings

Under the 11.04 and laters the default driver for the Nvidia cards are the
nouveau
but they can't be installed on the same machine with the official nvidia driver, so you have to purge that package before installing the nvidia closed source driver.after that install the driver trough jockey-gtk ( 'Additional drivers' dialog )
After that you can manage your configuration files with the
nvidia-settings
package, so install it withLenovo Z570 Nvidia Drivers
and start the control panel with
this is the right procedure in a nutshell, looking at your report you probably miss the config files so if you do not want to do by hand install and use the nvidia-settings utility.
