caution:Even though compatibility between your DVD drive and media is high, single or double-layer DVD-discs that have been created with your DVD-drive may not be compatible with some other DVD-ROM and DVD-video players. For maximum compatibility, HP recommends the installation of the latest firmware and software updates for both DVD writer and DVD player.

Recently bought RecordNow8 Premier. In the beginning when making an audio cd everything worked fine until it finished the last track.....then everything froze. Couldn't eject cd or exit the program. Cntrl, Alt, Del did nothing. Ended up unplugging the computer. When I turned it back on I was able to eject the cd and oddly enoough it worked fine. Now in the destination selection box it just flat out says 'No Drive Detected.' I'm not a computer wizard, and this is kinda gettin' to me. Not only did I pay for something that ain't workin' I'm wasting a lot of my time. Anyway, my CDRW/DVD drive seems to work fine and nowhere can I find anything wrong with it. I've got a Pentium 4 (2.4 Ghz), 512 Mb RAM, Win XP (SP2). Anybody have any ideas??? Thanks, Scot
